Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi's Wedding Gown in The Princess Diaries 2
"Princess Mia's gown in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004) was the epitome of regal. With its gorgeous off-the-shoulder illusion lace neckline and sleeves, many royal enthusiasts even pointed out that it bears a striking resemblance to the wedding gown Princess Claire of Belgium wore in 2003 a year before the movie's release."

Annie Banks's Ball Gown in Father of the Bride
"In my mind, there’s no wedding movie more iconic than Father of the Bride. Annie’s ball gown is the complete opposite of my own wedding dress, but it’s one I’ve always loved and what I consider to be the epitome of early 1990s bridal style. And I love that, even though she went with this incredibly traditional look for her ceremony and reception, she ended up heading to the airport ahead of her honeymoon in a two-piece white suit—she was ahead of her time!"

Marie Antoinette's Rococo Wedding Gown in Marie Antoinette
"I find myself thinking about the fashion in Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette once per day, and the massive gown the famous French royal wears on her wedding day is no exception. From the gorgeous gilded tone to the ornate ruffles and bows to the how-can-she-possibly-fit-through-a-door structure, this stunning dress is truly a work of art. Now, would I want to attempt to do a first dance in this dress on my wedding day? No thank you. But, I commend Kirsten Dunst for making it look like a piece of cake."

Liv Lerner's Princess Dress in Bride Wars
"I think about Kate Hudson's Vera Wang princess wedding dress in Bride Wars waaay too often. From the moment Anne Hathaway asked Kate Hudson the rhetorical question, 'Do you think there's something better than Vera Wang?' middle-school-me decided that she was going to be a Vera bride. The sweetheart neckline! The endless layers of tulle! The lavender sash! It was the perfect choice for her June wedding at The Plaza."

Cece Parekh's Wedding Lehenga on New Girl
"I will never get over Cece Parekh's first wedding lehenga on New Girl. Between the rich red color, the floor-length veil, and just the overall design, what's even more unforgettable are the embroidered jewels that dripped down the gown. And while she didn't end up saying 'I do' on that episode, at least Cece graced us with an exceptional and memorable wedding look."

Molly Carter's Oscar de la Renta Look in Insecure
"Nothing prepared me for Molly Carter's Oscar de la Renta moment during the Insecure series finale. I'd seen the iconic fern gown plenty of times before (royals and real brides alike have been donning it for a few years now), but still, I audibly gasped when Molly stood hand-in-hand with her husband in the stunning strapless look. She looked sophisticated, gorgeous, and most importantly, happy—everything one should be on their wedding day!"

Princess Tiana's Sparkly Green Gown in Princess and the Frog
"I would be lying If I said I didn't watch Princess and the Frog at least 100 times since its release in 2009. It's quite honestly a feel-good movie for me, and my favorite part? The wedding scene. After spending the majority of the movie as a frog, the moment Princess Tiana floats in the air and turns into a bride (and princess!), 10-year-old me couldn't picture anything more magical. Princess Tiana is an iconic Disney princess for many reasons, but there's no doubt in my mind that her sparkly green ball gown, made to look like a flower, is one of them."

Bella Swan's Refined Wedding Dress in "Twilight"
"Bella Swan looked so elegant in her Carolina Herrera long-sleeve silk sheath wedding dress, which she wore in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part 1). I love how the front of her gown radiated simplicity and sophistication while the back demanded attention with its intricate lace detailing and extensive trail of buttons. It was the perfect outfit for her romantic nuptials!"
